Nosyak Consulting is a trusted source in public engagement, strategic communication, branding, event planning, and other related services.  

 

The Alabama-based minority-owned female-led firm was founded in 2015 by Felecia Martin, a highly experienced professional with over 25 years of combined experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Her extensive background in city government and political campaigning makes her uniquely qualified to work with key stakeholders.

Feleica spent 15 years in local government as a key advisor in the Mayor's Office during the Bright Administration and beyond. While in this role, she established an Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives to assist nonprofits working with local government to develop their capacity building and improve program efficiency. With a background in grassroots campaigning and official political training from the Campaign School for Women at Yale University, Felecia successfully led three consecutive mayoral races. She continued her career in the private sector after being recruited to one of the nation's top energy companies, Duke Energy in Florida as a Senior Public Engagement Specialist. 

 

Throughout her career, she successfully planned and led significant events including, but not limited to the 45, 50, and 55th anniversaries of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. She organized and led youth programs resulting in increased civic engagement.

 

She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a master’s in public administration/Human Resources Management. Felecia continued her professional studies by completing several certification programs in public service, political campaigning, and public engagement from Auburn University of Montgomery Public Managers, Yale Campaign School for Women, and Pepperdine University. 

 

She serves on two community boards, including the Ministries About People (MAP) and the Montgomery Police Athletic League, and is often invited to participate in other organizations' strategy planning processes as a thought leader. Felecia prides herself on giving back to her community through volunteering and mentoring. She recently headed up a special gardening project at the Rosa Parks Home. 

 

She prides herself on delivering excellent client services by carefully overseeing every project. As a passionate visionary leader, Felecia believes her proven expertise is essential to getting the sustainable results her clients desire and deserve.
